"oh, COME ON, DUDE, ENOUGH OF THIS CRAP! GET OUT OF MY WAY!" and before I had even moved, he zppeid up the web and back onto the overhang at lightning speed. I could practically hear him muttering "crazy human b****!!!dammit!!!" under his breath. LOL! I have never had a spider understand English before.Oh well, at least they aren't poisonous. We have black widows too and I steer well clear of THOSE. I think my husband got a glancing bite from one a couple of years ago and although he didn't suffer serious health problems, the tiny wound was necrotic and took months to heal over completely. Our summer up here in Vallejo has been miserable too. We are usually about ten degrees warmer than SF this time of year, and we rarely get a heavy blanket of fog like you San Franciscans do, but every morning has been gray, cold and dismal. Evenings and nights are in the 50s! I am wearing socks to bed! It is driving me crazy. *sigh*
